The satellite tracking simulation system mainly consists of a tracker and a target-creator, for the former’ s kernel is an industrial computer and the later’ s kernel is a SCM. Both of them are controlled by the industrial computer and done cooperative simulation . The function of the target-creator in this system is to produce a moving target which has resemble properties of the satellite.The concept of the design follows the way that the target-creator is presented by a light spot whose movement is controlled by both of the industrial computer and SCM. The spot’ s contrail is as parabola as satellite is. Based on the concept, some representative designs such as tilting rotating circle scheme, rotating half-circle scheme, computer projector scheme, mirror reflection scheme and light pen turning table scheme are designed and optimized and the last one has been chosen. In this scheme, the laser which can project a light beam is fixed on the pitching part of the two-axis turning table, and was controlled by the industrial computer, and as a result the schedule contrail has been obtained on the projection screen.Separated in the mechanical and the control section, this paper expounds the design methods of the target-creator, the selection of the element parts, the deduction of the algorithm, the organization of the control program, finally analyses the pointed direction error of the target-creator and puts forth improvement measures accordingly.
